"Backslide" explores  the cycle of both seeking and rejecting the very things that could help us. Using ink, graphite, and collage, I layer Silverstein’s poem "Help!" with stark geometry and A surreal landscape. The fractured geography and floating forms contrast rigidity with weightlessness, mirroring uncertainty. The piece is a call to reflect upon our tendencies as humans to simultaneously seek and reject help from others..
"Philosophical Consequence"
